Imagine Healing Children

Good news! Research has shown that when a parent or caregiver is emotionally prepared, the child is more relaxed and peaceful, too.

Children who are given strong sedatives to calm them down are at risk for delusions or hallucinations.

It is great to know you can use Imagine Healing™ instead!

This was certainly the case with Peter’s infant son.

When children are anticipating surgery, the things that frighten them most may not be what we think, as we discovered when James was going to have major surgery.

One nurse transformed the experience of a frightened and resistant four-year-old girl when he helped her imagine the X-ray as a rainbow machine! (The Rainbow Machine, Tales from a Neurolinguist’s Journal, by Andrew T. Austin)

Fortunately, a lot of what children go through is not serious illness, but even so, they can experience unnecessary distress, which is challenging for both the child and the parents. Here are some other areas where use of guided imagery can make a huge improvement:

  • Meditation or stress relief
  • Relief from anxiety, anger, or depression
  • Self-esteem and personal empowerment
  • Enhancing creativity, right brain stimulation
  • Developing whole brain function (intuition training, brain gym)
  • Sports performance (healthy attitude, growth mindset)
  • Academic success (visual spelling strategy, overcoming test anxiety)
  • Spiritual exploration (using a multi-cultural lens)
  • Allergy relief
  • Fast Phobia Cure
  • Changing False Beliefs
  • Self-awareness and healing (energy medicine)

Private coaching sessions can be done in person, over the phone, or by using Skype or similar technology. Children of all ages cope much better with life if they have an idea of what’s going to happen and why it’s necessary. To do that, prepare yourself first and correct any misconceptions of your own. Children are natural learners and can help you be willing to enjoy your own creativity.
